TimelyCare (24/7 virtual health and wellness services for Elon students)

Elon has partnered with TimelyCare to provide virtual health and wellness services and programs for students. TimelyCare gives students access to a provider for their medical and mental health needs, including acute and immediate needs and ongoing mental health support. The service provides access to 24/7 virtual mental health and medical care, and students have better access to Scheduled consultation, Psychiatry (on recommendation) and Health Coaching services. All of this will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from anywhere in the United States, with no tour fees!

  • Medical: 24/7, on-demand or scheduled access to a medical care provider who can treat a wide range of common illnesses like colds and flu, sinus infections, allergies and more
  • Speak now: 24/7, on-demand access to a mental health professional to talk about anything, anytime
  • Scheduled consultation: scheduled options to speak with a licensed counselor (up to 12 visits per year) – appointments are available evenings and weekends
  • Health Coaching: access to a nutrition specialist to help students adopt healthier lifestyle behaviors related to sleep issues, weight management and more

    • demonstrate an urgent need for acute stabilization (eg, current impairment in activities of daily functioning – sleep disturbances, hygiene, appetite disturbances, etc.
  • Group sessions: Weekly sessions of guided meditation and group yoga, as well as specialized discussions throughout the year.

Access to care is simple. Students can go to timecare.com/elon to register with their name and school email address.

Once a student is registered, they can then receive tours from any web-enabled device – smartphone, laptop or desktop computer. TimelyCare is available 24/7 from anywhere in the United States (when students are off campus, during breaks and vacations).
