In the past, churches were crowded at Easter. Not this year. Most of the churches are empty and the services are virtual.

The following churches are among those that have advertised the best ways to receive service, whether on Facebook or YouTube.com

• Holy Redeemer Church, Holy-redederchurch.com, services are at 7 a.m., 9 a.m., 10 p.m. and Spanish services at 12:30 p.m.

• Marshall’s First Lutheran Church, 1stlutheran.org. The services are available on its website and on YouTube ahead of the services on Easter Sunday at 6 a.m.

• St. James Episcopal Church, stjamesepiscopalmarshall.com will have online services.

• St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Marshall will have online services at 8:30 am

• Efree Church in Marshall, marshallefc.org. The video will be uploaded before 9 a.m. on Sunday.

• Christ Lutheran Marshall, christ-lutheran.org Services will be available on the website at 8:00 am Sunday.

• Grace Life Church, gracelifewc.com. The services are accessible from 10 a.m. on YouTube and Facebook.

• Radiant Life Church, marshallradiantlife.org, services will either be streamed live or recorded and downloaded. See the Facebook page.

• Tyler’s Lutheran Church. The services will be broadcast by video on the Facebook page.

• Hope Lutheran Church in Minneota. Sunday services can be viewed online.

• Church of St. John in Vesta. Lenten services will be the church’s Facebook page. DVDs are available for those who request them. Contact the pastor to make an appointment for private confession, absolution and communion.
